STANDARD RETURNS POLICY
in respect of
VAPE MOTI PRODUCTS
Thank you for purchasing our products and/or subscribing to our services at www.vapemoti.co.za
This policy forms part of The Prepaid Company Terms of Service and words defined therein have the same meaning in this policy, unless the context indicates otherwise. Nothing in this policy is intended to limit your statutory rights in any way.
1. PREPARATION OF PRODUCTS:
1.1 Please do the following to ensure that your return request is processed as quickly as possible:
1.1.1 Safely and securely package your product;
1.1.2 Mark your reference number/ order number on the outer packaging of the product;
1.1.3 Include all accessories and parts in the packaging that were delivered with the product.
2. UNWANTED PRODUCTS:
2.1. You may return an unwanted product to us at no charge, provided that it is undamaged and unused, in its original packaging and not missing any accessories and/or parts. A return must be logged within 7 (seven) days of delivery of said product.
2.2. Where you have changed your mind and would like a credit for a product, you may return it provided that the conditions in clause 2.1 above are met.
2.3. A product may be exchanged for another product, provided that such other product is available. We are entitled to inspect the product you wish to return. You will be liable for any variation in the purchase price where such is higher than the product you wish to return. Your account will be credited where the purchase price is lower that that of the product you wish to return.
3. DAMAGE UPON DELIVERY:
3.1 Please notify us within 7 (seven) days of delivery should a product be damaged or missing any parts or accessories.
3.2 We shall arrange to collect the product from you at no charge and, at our sole discretion, replace the product as soon as possible after we have inspected the product and have validated the return. Where we are unbale to replace the product we shall credit your account.
4. DEFECTIVE PRODUCTS:
4.1. The Prepaid Company offers a manufacturer’s warranty of 6 (six) months (“the Product Warranty”). During this period, should you discover that the product is damaged or defective (“Faulty”), you shall be entitled to return the product to The Prepaid Company at our cost.
4.2. If the same product is not available, we will source a suitable product that either meets or exceeds the specifications of the existing product.
4.3. The following will not be regarded as defects and will not qualify as a return:
4.3.1. Faults resulting from normal wear and tear;
4.3.2. Damage arising from negligence, user abuse or incorrect usage of the product; 4.3.3. Damage arising from electrical surges or sea air corrosion;
4.3.4. Damage arising from a failure to adequately care for the product; 4.3.5.Damage arising from unauthorised alterations to the product; and
4.3.6. Where the specifications of a product, although accurately described on the website and generally fit for its intended purpose, do not suit you.
5. APPLICABLE CHARGES AND REFUNDS
6.1. When a Product is returned to us (whether defective or otherwise), but you fail to return the accessories and/or parts that were sold to you with the Product, The Prepaid Company will be entitled to either:
6.1.1. refuse the return (subject to applicable law);
6.1.2. levy a restocking charge (this also applies in circumstances where the Product is returned without being placed in its original packaging);
6.1.3. only replace the item that was returned; or
6.1.4. estimate the value of the missing accessories and/or parts and credit or refund you in respect of the returned item only.
6.2. If a Product is returned without all the accessories sold you will be held liable for the cost to replace the missing accessories.
6. DELIVERY OF INCORRECT PRODUCTS
7.1. In the event that the incorrect Product is delivered to you, you must notify us within 24 (twenty- four) hours of such delivery by logging a return on the website or you may email firstname.lastname@example.org for assistance.
8.1. To be eligible for a refund, all physical items must be available to be packed into the original, unmarred packaging, including accessories, labels, free gifts, bonus items, manuals and documentation that was delivered with the Product.
8.2. Once the returned Product is received and inspected, we will send you an email confirming approval or refusal based on condition of the Product.
8.3. If you return a Product that does not comply with this policy, you may be liable to reimburse The Prepaid Company for the cost of collecting the Product from you and the cost of having the Product returned to you.
8.4. Where a refund is validated and approved, the refund will be processed via the original payment method within 14 (fourteen) calendar days.
8.5. Partial refunds will be granted based on the following: 8.5.1.Products with obvious signs of use;
8.5.2.Any items that are not in their original condition, are damaged or missing parts for reasons that are not due to our error.
